Hello all, From December 1997 until now I've been working on my Master's project. It consisted of a theoretical part and a practical part. In the practical part I made a little mobile robot using a Handy Board. In the next couple of weeks I will be (...) (26 years ago, 27-Jul-98, to lugnet.robotics.handyboard)

  RE: fischertechnik

First of all, the HandyBoard works fine with fischertechnik. I've been using fischertechnik for a variety of purposes since about 1980. I've also used Lego Technic, although less extensively, for ten years or so. Size/Scale: If you build identically (...) (26 years ago, 27-Jul-98, to lugnet.robotics.handyboard)

I was planning to use 5AA Nicads as a power supply for the (...) (26 years ago, 25-Jul-98, to lugnet.robotics.handyboard)

  Re: Sonar Help!

Fred, I decided not to use the external battery for now and try and get the sonar working using the directions on the web page. Instead of connecting the power throught the Motor Power header, I have simple connect V+ and GND to TIC3's PWR and Grnd (...) (26 years ago, 24-Jul-98, to lugnet.robotics.handyboard)

  Re: What about Fischertechnik?

REF: Fischertechnik as building components for robots Greetings, We considered using Fischertechnik for building our robots but unfortunately, they occupy more or less the same volume as LEGO parts and our robots had to be small (first within a 12 (...)   Config register 0x3c trauma

You all may recall my problems downloading to my board and receiving a "config register set to 0x3c" error. I am glad to report there was a very simple solution, but it was a nightmare to debug. So allow me to share my wisdom so other unfortunate (...) (26 years ago, 23-Jul-98, to lugnet.robotics.handyboard)
