  Re: Board not responding

(...) The most probable cause of this is a dead 6811. (it spoils rather easily... :(Because everytime i have a problem with the board, it turns out to be nothing more than a shot 6811. Even replacing the 7805 with a LM2931T kills it. (26 years ago, 23-May-98, to lugnet.robotics.handyboard)

  Board not responding

Hi! The handy board was working good before and I haven't used the board for a while. Recently, I ran the downloader few times, but I couldn't download the bootstrap. I think the download mode is ready, but the error message like "Board not (...) (26 years ago, 23-May-98, to lugnet.robotics.handyboard)

setting the best PWM frequency for DC motor

hello everyone, I found some information on "How do I set best PWM parameters for DC motors?" from the "Robotics Information" homepage, (URL) inside it described that in order to make current to flow steadily in between pulses, you need to satisfy (...)   Where can I find spec. of the LM052L

I have an equivalent LCD screen (sharp L16255), I think, but it is a bit different from the LM052L and I am not sure how to interface it to the handy board. I cannot find any spec. on neither of these LCD screen and just need a hint maybe. Thanks (...) (26 years ago, 22-May-98, to lugnet.robotics.handyboard)

Re: important update to Handy Board standard libraries.

(...) You must manual consolidate the new driver with the smooth-pwm libraries. To consolidate, 1. edit the smooth-pwm lib_hb.c, and remove the function "_raw_analog()", 2. install the new lib_hb.icb file in your IC lib directory (this contains the (...)   Re: important update to Handy Board standard libraries.

Will this new lib_hb.c also replace the Smooth PWM lib_hb.c released by Newton Labs? It appears not. What is the easiest way to consolidate the Smooth PWM routines with your improved analog code?   Re: Addresses of SPI ports

Hi The SPI Header is connected to port D of the hc11 as follows: Port D Bit 2 - PD2 - MISO Port D Bit 3 - PD3 - MOSI Port D Bit 4 - PD4 - SCK Port D Bit 5 - PD5 - SS All of those pins can be used for general-purpose I/O signals. To program port D (...) (26 years ago, 20-May-98, to lugnet.robotics.handyboard)
