  Emitting 40khz IR

How do I send out 40khz IR on the handyboard IR port so that I can use a Sharp IR detector for proximity sensing? I would need a signal that wasn't modulated at 100 or 125 hz, right? Just a straight 40khz signal. Any help would be appreciated. -John (28 years ago, 9-Apr-96, to lugnet.robotics.handyboard)

Speaking of Polaroid ultrasonic sensors, does anyone know if there's a product out there that can multiplex a few of the sensors? Thanks. (28 years ago, 9-Apr-96, to lugnet.robotics.handyboard)
