more address lines on expansion board

Hi Brian, When Fred and I designed the Rev 2.0 6.270 controller, we consciously made the expansion bus small and simple. For most expansion devices, the pre-decoded chip selects make more sense than sending all the address lines, since the latter (...) (28 years ago, 8-Apr-96, to lugnet.robotics.handyboard)

  Pcode instructions?

OK. I know this is going to be a long shot, but here goes: Are there any docs on the pcode? I.e. is there some way that I can learn what I need to learn to modify the source code pcode.asm besides reading the file pcode.asm and tearing my hair out? (...)   Re: Handyboard expansion status

(...) I don't have one of the beta versions of the expansion board, but I've been building my own expansion boards and putting them on the HB. One thing that I've found is problematic with the HB design, in regards to expansion board design, is that (...) (28 years ago, 7-Apr-96, to lugnet.robotics.handyboard)

  mseconds

Is there a way to get sub-milisecond times measured with the handyboard? I was thinking of trying to modify msecond but I can't look at it now that it is a primitive. Dirk (28 years ago, 7-Apr-96, to lugnet.robotics.handyboard)

  Expansion board

How many Polaroid range sensors can the expansion board have up to. One? What kind of signal does it produce? (29 years ago, 5-Apr-96, to lugnet.robotics.handyboard)

  Re: High current motors

I think the question on how to run higher current motors has got to be the most asked question here. Maybe we should add more info to the FAQ or something. Anyway, here is Chuck McManis' solution from a while back. I hate to send out something that (...) (29 years ago, 5-Apr-96, to lugnet.robotics.handyboard)

  Re: High current motors

Do you have to choose a transistor that will switch somewhere near and below 9 volts? Cause Fred mentioned that the handyboard is rated for 9V motors. But, does this mean that the pulse generator make 9V square waves? (...) (29 years ago, 4-Apr-96, to lugnet.robotics.handyboard)
