  Obtaining the Handyboard in the UK
 
Does anybody know if it is possible to get the Handyboard in kit form or assembled in the UK. The problem with ordering from the USA is that customs charge taxes/duty on goods over ?145 ($237 approx.) which increases the cost. Thanks in advance for (...) Jeff, I used a couple of the 10mV/deg Kelvin ones, with nothing more than the current load resistor, ie no amplification at all. For example, freezing point = zero celcius = 273 Kelvin = 2.73 volts. With the 6811 resolution of about 20 mV (5v / (...) (27 years ago, 22-Jul-97, to lugnet.robotics.handyboard)

This may sound like a dumb question, but I don't know where to get headers. Digi Key has some but 4 different kinds. The parts list says nothing except 14 pin female header. Nothing else. Where did you get your headers and what are the part numbers? (27 years ago, 21-Jul-97, to lugnet.robotics.handyboard)

Chuck: I agree with you; what I've done with the MiniSSC is to break the path into a set of linear segments with via points in joint space. The lynxmotion arm ends up needing a lot of points (therefore moving pretty slowly) to avoid jerkiness, but (...) (27 years ago, 21-Jul-97, to lugnet.robotics.handyboard)
