I am searching for HB parts such as the 32K static CMOS ram p/n 62256-100LP, voltage monitor, p/n DS1233-10, IR demodulator p/n IS1U60, motor driver p/n L293, RS232 converter p/n MAX232CPE, or any acceptable substitutes. (...) I concur here, I have a 6inch X 6inch piece of aluminium for 2 of them, and this seems to dissapate all the heat I am generating. I need a source for a good 12V battery. I'm thinking gel cell to keep the weight and size to a minimum. I found a 12V lead acid at Radio Shack, which is a good size but it's too heavy.
