(...) It might be theoretically possible to use one RCX sensor port for control of the cybermaster - and using the one motor and one sensor port on the cybermaster. A few multiplexing designs I've seen use switching between passive and active sensor (...) (21 years ago, 10-Jun-04, to lugnet.robotics.cybermaster, lugnet.robotics.rcx)

If anyone is interested, it is possible to use the MindSensors separately powered SHarp GPD12 IR range finders on the CyberMaster. These range finders require a motor port to power them, and also connect to sensor port. Connecting them to the (...) (21 years ago, 26-May-04, to lugnet.robotics.cybermaster)
