    what's a Code Pilot? —Joe Strout
   I hope you'll forgive a newbie for what must be a FAQ, but what exactly is a Code Pilot, what can it do, and how can I get one?      (...) The codepilot was available in set 8479. To program it you swiped it across various bar codes. I don't own an RCX, so I can't give you a detailed comparison. It can control only one motor, has only two passive inputs and one light-sensor/barcode reader (...) (20 years ago, 4-Aug-04, to lugnet.robotics.codepilot, FTX)

   (...) Sorry. It has only one passive input (you can't attach light-sensors or rotation-sensors to it). The RCX, as you may know, has three outputs and three active inputs and you can choose from lots of ways on how to program it: Standard (...)
