  Re: Olsenbande Robotic B&E

(...) I should show this video to people who think LEGO robotics has no practical applications. It certainly does, especially if you need to rob a place. (19 years ago, 19-Jan-07, to lugnet.robotics)

  Olsenbande Robotic B&E

Maybe this has been posted before, (couldn't find it here) but this is a pretty cool little video anyway. Staged for TV, no doubt, but a great little mechanism here... (URL) (19 years ago, 19-Jan-07, to lugnet.robotics)

ReMix of LEGO NXT Starter Robot

Hi All, I've just posted an entry on my blog (URL) on a ReMix project using the LEGO NXT Starter Robot kit. I'm creating a PoC (Proof Of Concept) bot that can measure distances using a "STRAIT LINE" eRolling Tape. To see the PoC "Measurebot!" device (...) (19 years ago, 8-Jan-07, to lugnet.robotics.nxt)

  Great FLL Video

I saw this video of New Hampshire's state champion FLL team, the Flying Geeks. They flawlessly accomplish all of the missions -- the robot even makes a pit stop back at the base to pick up a new tool without the kids snapping it to the robot. Check (...)   Re: Line Follower

(...) Thanks Steve! It's perfect. I will use it in one of the NXT robots. But now, part of this project is to show some comunications between two robots, (and the other one is a RCX driven. It will also follow a line). I saw some time ago a small (...) (19 years ago, 3-Jan-07, to lugnet.robotics.nxt, lugnet.robotics)

  Video image analisys

Has anyone done a PC-side program to do some video analisys, resulting in op-code sending to RCX/CyberMaster action control ? I want to do a "target" follower PC program, sending op-codes to my pBrick (CyberMaster) to control the X and Y rotation of (...) (26 years ago, 7-Jan-00, to lugnet.robotics)

I am a proponent for HALCON from mvtec.com. Although I have to admit that I am biased, as I have used HALCON during my thesis, its a very powerful environment. The number of available operators ranges from simple low-level image processing to (...) (26 years ago, 10-Jan-00, to lugnet.robotics)

Feed Me! Feed Me! Feed Me!

  Re: monkey rail

I see your point. Trouble is I don't have a 2nd RCX nor any real rotation sensors. Using the speed computers doesn't allow me to know if I'm rotating forwards or backwards. Still the device is impressive enough to give it a try. I'll just go with (...) (19 years ago, 9-Dec-06, to lugnet.robotics)
