Thank you to everybody who contributed to this subject.

I purchased PVC pipe glue (based on MEK) from my local
hardware store.

It works great! It appears to be prethickened so is easy
to apply. I used a toothpick. It is strong enough to firmly
join plates edge to edge (in my case electric plates for
the top of my new RCX replacement boxes).

I also made two Duplo brick tall sensor containers. The glue
is  strong enough to allow the bricks to be put in a vise and
machined after gluing!

Hi people, I need to know which of the glues recommended will stand up to a soap bath. I'm planning on making a deep, narrow and long container out of Legos (probably Mega-Bloks since they'll be glued) that will hold bubble making formula. I can't (...) (25 years ago, 4-Jan-00, to lugnet.robotics)
