I'm running a SuSE 6.2 linux system and legOS was quite easy to get up
and running.

I had a slight problem getting the firmware downloader to work.  The
light in the IR tower wouldn't come on.  Rebooted to W98 to check the
hardware against the Mindstorm software and it worked.  Rebooted back
to linux and the IR light started working again.  Wierd.  Maybe
because I use the same serial port for my camera and palm pilot.  I
did have to use the --slow switch, although I'm running a K6-2 400
system.

Got compile errors with the code from the Unofficial Mindstorm book
for giving Hank more brains ... but they were primarily due to renamed
include files.  However there was also a major one against the
button_state function.  I guess it doesn't exist anymore?  Well, I
removed the code that kills the processes and everything worked after
that!  Is it not required to kill the processes in 0.2.2?  Otherwise,
how do I detect the state of the run button now?
