ObLego: Anyone have one of the kits with a Technic motor and a battery
block? Is that simply an on/off switch on it? They seem quite useful if
you just want a constant power flow.

The Battery box is very useful in development. Easy to go forward or Back but
noo power setting.  I use the control pannel on my MAC from Dave Baum for that.
The S@H has just the box #5115 for $12.25 (Page 65 of the new catalog) or you
can find the battery box in these power kits -  #PowerPack #8720 with the older
motor $39.75   or the LEGO Technic Motor #8735 with the motor like in the
mindstorms kit for $42.00.

I got mine out of my sons LEGO box (Thanks to Grandma.)
