Hi Jonathan,
try Conrad Electronics. They claim to be the biggest electronics online store
in Europe. They have a "real" store here in Munich and I'm used to visit it.
Their international site is at www.conrad-electronic.com (in English). They
accept credit cards etc.
And, hey! I just checked for you and saw they also have a French website:
www.conrad.fr. And there is a store in Lille. (is that far from Paris?)
They have everything: consumer stuff, thousands of parts, kits, tools, books,
...
(They usually claim to have over 30000 articles, but just on the French website
they say only 15000. Hmm, what the heck is it that French guys don't need? :-)
Bye,
Uwe
