Jeremy,
I've been playing with the BX-24 for a few weeks now, and think it's
great! You don't even need a new hardware environment ... you can
use whatever you've been using with the BS-2 ... a Stamp carrier board
or just a solderless breadboard.
BTW it has 19 I/O lines, not 16. The extra three lines are on the
end of the board (you can solder on a female 3 pin header). The
other end of the board has seven pins providing power and an SPI
interface ... can take another header.
Have fun,

| Hi Has any body visited the Basicx Web site (URL) ? It has information on a new product called the Basicx-24. Its basically a controller with the same footprint as a Parallax Basic Stamp but with a lot more facilities and a better programming (...) (25 years ago, 22-Nov-99, to lugnet.robotics)
