How about designing the set *you* would buy?  Write up the
instructions, get them printed, and buy other sets as needed to put
together the kit of parts.  Then start selling them.  If you make
money, *that* will get TLG's attention, much more than lobbying them.
If you make money as a small business, with the attendant overhead
costs, plus having to buy Lego parts at retail, then TLG will surely
make a lot more money at the same price.
