    What´s the memory for the RCX? —Tobias Möller

It stores its core information in a 16K ROM, which is loaded into a 32K RAM, which is cleared out when you remove the batteries. When you download a new program or new (...)      (...) Whoops, almost... There is a 32K ROM which is "masked" into the micro. It is not erasable, or rewritable. This is the core firmware with all of the hooks to handle timer interrupts, read sensors, drive the motors and display, and to upload new (...) (25 years ago, 12-Sep-99, to lugnet.robotics)
