  Most "light sensors" are sensitive to the light put out by IR remote controls
and other devices with standard IR-emitting diodes. It's actually more
expensive to make a light sensor that does *not* pick up IR wavelengths.

Therefore, it's likely that the micro scout hardware can pick up IR signals.

As to whether the software can actually recognize pulses to distinguish the
different buttons on the remote control and/or messages sent by the RCX, well,
that's a totally different matter of course.

To see how you can combine your RCX with the Droid Developers kit, go to (URL) navigate to the Droid Developers Kit page. Scroll down to "Combine your worlds". The picture is very clear - the RCX is mounted on the belly of R2D2, with two outputs and (...) (25 years ago, 7-Aug-99, to lugnet.robotics)
