-Lego will also get kind of snippy if you use a non-approved power
source, burn out the RCX, and try to get them to replace it. They're good
folk, but RCXes are expensive, and the warranty is fairly clear.

| I want to power my Rcx and robot with solar power. Edmunds Scientific lists a dozen or so solar panels, all with different voltage and current. What is the approprioate voltage and current the Rcx would need, with 2-4 motors and 2-3 sensors? I (...) (25 years ago, 9-Jul-99, to lugnet.robotics)
