Hi Richard,
I am using the same environment you describe with no problems at all. I only
used the RIS for a couple programs before I started using RCXCC. IMHO it is the
best development platform for windows users.
Have you verified that the firmware is installed? Attach a motor to port A or C
and run program 1. The motor should run until you press Run again. Also, after
downloading the firmware the display has a different format. When you turn the
RCX on it will count the minutes since power-on.

| Hello, I'm new to using LEGO/Mindstorms. I've been trying to get Mindstorms to work on my Windows NT4 sp3 system with only limited success. I can install and run the software.
