Well, it hasn't actually died, just slowed down a bit. If you look on
lugnet.robotics.rcx.legos there has been some very low-level talk recently.
I haven't done *any* lego stuff recently, but, when I do I'll likely be doing
networking stuff.
I'm kinda working on a simulation of the networking so that different things
can be tried out. It's not an emulator, it's a discrete event simulator, but
I'm trying to design it so that it will show the same effects you'd find in the
real thing. Why do this? Well, i'm not as much a hardware/low-level guru as
Kekoa ;-) Incidentally, i'm currently writing it in C++, but I could equally
well write it in Java. Since I'm planning on making it open source when it gets
to the right stage, which language would people prefer?
