OK, I've gotten enough responses I'll post this publically: Here's
where I'm at right now:
What I've got right now won't work on a GX. It relies on several
loops in assembly code to get the IR timings right, and the GX has
a faster clock (2.5 MHz instead of 1.67 MHz for the SX). When I get
a few hours free I'll take a guess at the GX timings, but the RCX is
*very* picky about the baud rate (w/in about 1%) so it may take a few
tries to get it right... I'll get back to you all in a few days.
