A contest would be an interesting idea, but would it be limited to what you
can achieve with a single RIS kit? I have two and the parts are so
thoroughly intermixed now, that I couldn't know with any certainty if the
elements I used in the construction were comprised of just a single kit.
Perhaps a restriction of one RCX and basic sensor/motor set, but no
restrictions on structural elements?

I would presume that adding a third motor (like for a gripper to pick up a
Coke
can) would constitute a non-RIS only solution, since the RIS only comes with
two
motors? Although I guess you could capture the can with an indented ot
hollow
robot and push it out of the room.
Cheers,
