O.k. Now I'm starting to be a little concerned.
Not to dispute what anyone is saying but I've been hearing a lot of
variations to this question. Has anyone found specifications that Lego
has posted anywhere about the recommended adapter for the RCX? Has
anyone contacted The Lego Group about it? I've been searching every
possible resource but I have yet to find any information about it.
I also find it odd that Lego didn't supply an adapter with Mindstorms or
that their web page does not provide specs for it.
It may seem like a trivial concern but if there is even the slightest
chance of frying a $100 RCX with a $10.00 adapter, I think it's worth
getting the proper specs.

| I use a LEGO 9V train transformer on my RCXs .... and haven't had any difficulty. Keep in mind that LEGO works very hard to make their stuff "child proof". - - - Nick - - - (...) -- Did you check the web site first?: (URL) (26 years ago, 25-Jan-99, to lugnet.robotics)
