Hi, How come in the "Big Blocks", the "raise arm" and "lower arm" blocks use the C motor when it should use A motor. The "rotate left" and "rotate right" blocks also use the C motor (as it should). Anybody else ever built this model? This is the (...) (15 years ago, 10-Aug-09, to lugnet.robotics)

By trial, error, and lots of googling, I found a recipe for getting to the programming feature in the RIS software that came with my old original set. When installing, let it install quicktime 2 and 3 as well as the old DirectX; only do the minimum (...) (15 years ago, 11-Aug-09, to lugnet.robotics)

Picked up a used Droid Developer Kit (set #9748) via garage sale. Had the instruction manuel, the micro-scout and missing less than a handful of parts (easily replaced). However, it was also missing the CD_Rom. Anyone know where I can get a (...) (15 years ago, 15-Aug-09, to lugnet.robotics, lugnet.starwars)

Hi Mark If you can't get your hands on the original dev kit CD-ROM, you should be able to program it with NQC. If the hardware is the same as the Dark Side Development Kit (pretty sure it is) NQC works brilliantly. Cheers Tom (...) (15 years ago, 15-Aug-09, to lugnet.robotics, lugnet.starwars)
