  Re: Brickworld 2007 - Indy 5.00

(...) That appears to be a typo. The track fits on a FLL table, so it's a 44"x92" inch oval. And the lane is about 2ft wide. It's pretty easy to build and program a robot for this event. It just needs to follow a specific shade (actual value will (...) (17 years ago, 17-Jun-07, to lugnet.events.brickworld, lugnet.robotics)

  Re: Brickworld 2007 - Indy 5.00

(...) Seems clear to me :) there will be magic.... Actually - looks like a really wacky typo. Hopefully Steve H or Brian D jumps in to clarify for certain. But, I believe the full track layout is 4' x 8'. So, the track itself is just under 2' wide. (...) (17 years ago, 17-Jun-07, to lugnet.events.brickworld, lugnet.robotics)

  Re: Brickworld 2007 - Indy 5.00

(...) Okay, I'm confused. How can an 8' x 10' track be centered on a 4' by 8' surface? What is the actual width of the track? If the whole track fits on a 4' x 8' surface, then I would assume the width must be less then 2'. Gus (17 years ago, 17-Jun-07, to lugnet.events.brickworld, lugnet.robotics)

  Re: problem with rcx 2.0

(...) There is a good chance that the culprit is the entry fuse of the board. Check it with an ohmeter... This fuse is a tiny SMD one, rated 1.5A fast blow. It can be seen on this photo ((URL) in the lower right corner, between the long grey (...) (17 years ago, 14-Jun-07, to lugnet.robotics)

  Ultimate Builders Set instructions

I am looking for a copy of the instructions for the plotter found in the Ultimate Builders Set. Peeron does not have instructions for this set. Does anyone have a copy (or even an LDRAW dat file of the plotter would probably do) (17 years ago, 14-Jun-07, to lugnet.robotics)

  problem with rcx 2.0

Unfortunately, while working with the rcx open, a little piece of metal fall between the pins of the chip with a 16M6 written on top. It is to the left of the big capacitor and close to the small one. Has four legs, three in the front and one in the (...) (17 years ago, 13-Jun-07, to lugnet.robotics)

NQC release 3.1r6 - support for 64-bit platforms

I have posted a new release of NQC which includes the fixes from r5 which were never officially released (aside from being included along with recent versions of BricxCC). It also includes a small source code change which makes it possible to (...) (17 years ago, 11-Jun-07, to lugnet.robotics.rcx.nqc, lugnet.robotics)

  Re: Control Lab - serial/USB

(...) I've tried two different converter cables (both say they work with modems, PDA's etc) but no luck with the CLI under RoboLAb. Before I run the program (which I have tested on my desktop PC and there it works) I select the COM port (which does (...) (17 years ago, 9-Jun-07, to lugnet.robotics)

Re: Robo Quad - Stage Ten - Project Completed

(...) Thank you, come to New Jersey. I am arranging a series of seminars with Storming-Robot to explain about the robot and the construction techniques I used. Sometimes technology can be ugly. Keeping in mind the sense of purpose can help you look (...) (17 years ago, 9-Jun-07, to lugnet.technic, lugnet.robotics, FTX)

Re: Robo Quad - Stage Ten - Project Completed

(...) Thank you. (...) Working on it, (...) Rolling/walking robot. (...) I want a robot that can climb stairs. Having wheels at the feet seemed like a good way to help push and pull itself up a set of steps. Plus, I think a quad robot that can trot (...)
