Unfortunately, while working with the rcx open, a little piece of metal
fall between the pins of the chip with a 16M6 written on top. It is to
the left of the big capacitor and close to the small one. Has four legs,
three in the front and one in the middle of the other side.
Now the rcx has stop working. Any idea of what kind of chip is this one?
can anyone give me a hand?

| (...) There is a good chance that the culprit is the entry fuse of the board. Check it with an ohmeter... This fuse is a tiny SMD one, rated 1.5A fast blow. It can be seen on this photo ((URL) in the lower right corner, between the long grey (...) (17 years ago, 14-Jun-07, to lugnet.robotics)
