I have a gear train that is driven by a very weak input, very small torque. There are some places in the gear train where I have some worm gears driving some 'regualr' gears. Several of us working on a robotics project tried the Oct and Nov 2006 releases and could not get the out-of-the-box Lego NXT demo to stay connected for more than about 60 seconds, even after hours (...) (...) In my experience, this sort of problem occurs when the file size is zero (or, more precisely, it contains zero bytes) or it is not properly closed. Can you send me a copy of your program so I can see if it has any problems? John Hansen (18 years ago, 19-Mar-07, to lugnet.robotics)

Hi, I am a new user of the Lego robot and would like to ask a question. I ran into a problem with uploading a file from the NXT to my PC via USB which I did not understand why.
