Elmer,

I wish to buy my grandson a programmable robot system (its true that I
want to play with it as well.. I do have a good programming background
and an NT box 4 sp3).
The Lego Mindstorms are available for purchase in my area, but I have
never seen a Cybermaster for sale.

1) What is the basic difference between Lego Mindstorm Invention System
and a Lego Cybermaster ?
2) Which is the better choice (for someone who has never
played/prograammed robots)  ??

There is a page on my Lego-Robotics Wiki site that explains the differences
between MindStorms and CyberMaster. Please take a look at:

http://www.object-arts.com/wiki/html/Lego-Robotics/MindStormsAndCyberMasterC
omparison.htm

Please note that the Wiki site is a collaborative (editable) site dedicated
to LEGO robotics topics. You can use the "Start Here in this Web" link on
the above page to get to the home page of the web and browse from there. If
you want to add something then please do.

Best regards,

Andy Bower
