Hey nice site! I really enjoyed reading it and it has some cool links I haven't
seen before.

Yeah, watching the videos does help. It seems the M$ group has no intention of
running their code natively on each system (MC). However, they seem to provide
a generic SOAP/XML framework (a service bus from what I gather in the white
paper fluff) to communicate with the NXT from a central location (PC). I think.
That's why I'm getting out of it.

Yes, exactly. I think you can create HIGHER level services modules, plug it
into the MSRS framework and off your running....in fact, at JavaOne, Nokia had a
similar idea with their next generation mobile platform (have downloable modules
that encapsulate some higher level service that you can plug in to your main app
at runtime (I *think* it was OSGi based), like a Google Maps service). This is
very similar to MSRS from my limited understanding of the tool.
Though I don't how I feel about a blue screen when I toast bread! :D

| (...) True. However, so is choice. So although I am not exactly known as a Microsoft lover, more potential systems and robot programming techniques there are to choose from, the better really. It is one of the reasons I have been so impressed by (...) (18 years ago, 26-Jun-06, to lugnet.robotics)
