How about a biped that mimics human walking, i.e. uses its own inertia to catch itself? (URL) I recommend (URL) the videos from this mirror site>. This one's simple enough it might be possible to build it in LEGO. (20 years ago, 6-Apr-06, to lugnet.robotics, FTX)

Wow, I just received the email from Lugnet permitting me to post here. :-) Today is obviously when NXT pre-orders start, as declared on the home page of Lego Shop at Home. I also received an email, very similar to the one I had a week ago as an MDP (...) (20 years ago, 1-Apr-06, to lugnet.robotics)
