Wow, I just received the email from Lugnet permitting me to post here.
:-)
Today is obviously when NXT pre-orders start, as declared on the home
page of Lego Shop at Home. I also received an email, very similar to the
one I had a week ago as an MDP rejectee.
One immediate consequence is that all the extra sensors for the old
Mindstorms have disappeared. So if you want that extra temperature
sensor or replacement touch switch you will have to track down your
local Lego Education supplier.
Not really news though, but browsing through the shop at home website
there were a couple of oddities I noticed. Firstly there is no pre-order
available for France, secondly the staggering of despatch dates:
