I have a Robot Pet that roves around, cries when it wants attention (petting via
a button, although I haven't got the crying sound right at all), gets over
excited when it gets too much attention, needs darkness when it wants to sleep
and is afraid of the dark at other times. My son loves following it around and
poking it but it's eyes pull off really easily. Everything else on it is
reasonably secure. The original idea came from his mum not wanting a real dog in
the house.
