(...) If you are moving slow enough, one possibility is using black friction pegs on a technic beam, say, one every other hole, and a touch sensor that moves by them counting them. (...) Yes. The rotation sensor does occasionaly mess up at low rotation speeds, but this issue can be overcome by gearing up the actual rotation to higher speeds, and then dividing it back down in software. Kev (19 years ago, 12-Nov-05, to lugnet.robotics)
