It says:
"Only stock LEGO-manufactured parts may be used; no part may be altered or
modified. The allowed parts are:
...Non-electrical parts: unlimited non-electrical parts."
What about items such as string and rubber bands? Do they have to be
LEGO-manufactured?

| (...) Yeah, checking for real Lego strings and rubber bands can be difficult! I had always mentally excused people for using non Lego brand batteries in their RCXs until, horror of horrors, I saw Lego brand batteries for sale in the park shop in (...) (19 years ago, 5-Sep-05, to lugnet.robotics)
