There are many web pages offering useful info on lego-robotics, but to my
knowledge there are currently two web pages specifically set up as
convenient entry points if you're new to lego-robotics.
Legorobotics page
This page gives an overview of many current efforts to understand and
reverse-engineer the RCX from a very technical standpoint. This page is
brilliant if you want to be part of those efforts, but is somewhat 'too
much' as an introduction if you don't have a technical engineering
background and/or just want to use the RCX with the standard firmware.
LEGO on my mind
The Roboworld section offers an introductory overview, not assuming specific
hardware/software knowledge in advance. It specifically adresses how to
control the RCX (or Cybermaster) from your own Visual Basic program or from
a Word Macro if you will. Also, it ofcourse will offer introduction to
resources elsewhere on the web.
