(...) Are we sure the numbers are consecutive? In most business type numbering schemes, you add an extra digit which is calculated from the others as a way to avoid problems with typo's. Adding extra digits depends on the machine making the parts. Due to the uniformity and spacing of the numbers on all three of my RCX's, I'd say that's unlikely--but possible.
