| | (...) The only difference between a 1.5 and a 2.0 RCX is the sticker that says "2.0". Only the 1.0 RCX is a little different (it has an external power socket). However, there are lots of differences between the RIS 1.5 and RIS 2.0 sets (the (...) (21 years ago, 7-Nov-03, to lugnet.robotics)

| | | | (...) I don't think there is an RCX 1.5, there are different RCX 1.0 from RIS 1.0 (with AC-adapter) and from RIS 1.5 (without, I have two). As far as I understand (I have no first-hand experience) the only practical difference is that the RCX 2.0 IR (...) (21 years ago, 7-Nov-03, to lugnet.robotics)

| | | | (...) Yes RCX 2.0 can communicate with spybot if you use "extra-soft" but not with RIS soft. RCX 2.0 does not work well with IR remote, you have to be exactly in front of the RCX 's IR port to pilot it. So you can' t pilot easily RCX2.0 vehicle with (...)
