The Mindstorms RCX is not of the class of microchip that has a Y2K issue.
There is not embedded date-checking sofware/hardware etc... to worry about.
I think it is safe to say that It is a simple programmable unit that does
what its told to do.  The only date/time related checking the unit does is
when you download programs that have counter checks in them, but this is not
the Y2K issue.

The Mindstorms software * could * be an issue, but likely not.  You should
probably be more concerned about your computer, or even more so, your local
water treatment facility etc...

:-)

Just a little Y2K tidbit from a systems person...
