Generall, I think they are all good. 2.0 software is somewhat improved (I
haven't used the older versions, so I can't say precisely how much), and each
kit includes slightly different pieces, but I think the differences are
fairly minor. The one important exception is that 2.0 uses USB, while 1.0 &
1.5 use a serial connection (and therefore requires an extra battery for the
IR tower). If this is an issue, buy appropriately.
Basically, if you can get an excellent deal on 1.0 or 1.5, grab it. Otherwise,
2.0 is the way to go.
