this is frustrating.... i got my hands on this software called brick command center that seems to see my brick. but when i try to upload to it, i get a error. the remote feature doesn't seem to work. I dont' know. someone running windows 2k and (...) (22 years ago, 15-Sep-02, to lugnet.robotics)

hmm... it installs just fine but it doesn't seem to run. it hangs on a screen that says loading. when i kill the process probe.exe there is an error alert behind it that says quicktime needs at least 3mb of virtual memory to operate.... i don't get (...) I got Brick Command Center running on Win2k, and everything works fine. Maybe if you describe the problem a bit closer(what was the error-message?) I(or someone else here) could help you out. -bas (...) (22 years ago, 15-Sep-02, to lugnet.robotics)

ok here is what i have been up to. i am running windows 2k sp3. I have a brand new 1.5 set. i hooked up the infra red unit to serial port 2. First I uninstalled my current version of quicktime. then i installed the full install from the cd. (...) (22 years ago, 15-Sep-02, to lugnet.robotics)

using the trouble shooter supplied with the lego mindstorm kit, i determined that i didn't have firmware, and that was preventing me from getting action with rcx command center. once i downloaded the firmware, it worked like a charm. thanks for all (...)
