IR vs. RC

    Heya all,

maybe stupid question, maybe it was discused before but where (or what) is
the main diference in the two LEGO Racer sets controled by Infra Red and
radio Control ? I know what is IR and RC but where are the diferences by
controling the model ? Is the IR slowly like the RC or has the IR less
control range as the RC ?

Infra-Red, by it's nature, is line-of-sight (actually, truth be known, so is radio, but at least radio passes through most objects) which can be a problem when the vehicle passes behind a chair or some such thing. It also may have blind spots (...) (22 years ago, 12-Sep-02, to lugnet.robotics)
