I am writing to see if anybody has any idea on how to fix a badly
functioning output on my RCX 1.0 . The problem that I have encountered is
that output C
does not respond to any forward commands. However, it does respond to
backwards commands. I have checked the cable and motor on other outputs and
they are working fine, so this indicates that these are not the problem.I have
also tested outputs A and B, and Inputs 1,2,3 and it seems that they also
have no problems. One peculiar thing is that when my RCX is turned off there
seems to be enough current coming out of output C to run a motor. I would be
very grateful for somebody's help. Thanks for your time and cooperation.
Josue
PS. I have contacted lego technical support, but it seems there is not much
they can do since I do not live in North America or Europe.

I can't remember the web address (probably something stupidly simple like (...) (22 years ago, 14-Aug-02, to lugnet.robotics)
