Richard,
You mentioned using a stamp to gain more I/O on the RCX. I understand that
the sensor inputs on the RCX measure resistance. If so how would one go
about connecting a Stamp to the RCX? Is there a way to convert the Stamp's
high/low output to a change in resistance? I have a Stamp II and I'm very
interested in pursuing this idea. Any help that anyone can give would be
greatly appreciated.

Santa brought both, but since I had a bunch of motors, I really don't find
them
too useful. You might get more by buying technics and/or motor packs on
sale.
The fiber optic light unit in the Extreme Creatures is nice but certainly
not
necessary. I have not seen the Mars pack.

No news about a revision but I doubt it. More inputs and outputs would be
possible with external hardware and some logic. A Stamp or PIC chip could
be
used to gain both. With three outputs of eight states each, 512 outputs
would
be possible. The number of inputs would be even larger and limited only by
the
ability to sense levels within the RCX.
