I have uploaded the schematic for the battery-less power design to brickshelf.

There has been some interest in the past, and I wonder if this handy design
might fit the needs of a number of recent posters who've indicated that
their Mindstorms systems are lacking the original Lego tower.

| hi John, the circuit looks very good, and far more easy (and understandable) then the circuit from Lego (cracked by yourself ;-) I'm using your modification of the Lego IR-tower with great pleasure. The normal range (without batteries) is about 60 (...) (23 years ago, 12-Feb-02, to lugnet.robotics)
