Yow! That's a scary discovery! (Not the result, of course, but your
experiment design: "plug in RCX; verify that it works. Reverse (+)
and (-) leads, plug in again, and see what happens.")
It's good to know, though: I was going to ask if anybody had the AC
adapter and knew which side was which.

BTW, somebody was asking for a copy of legOS because of difficulties
downloading from Markus' site. I managed to get it, so I've put it up

| I discovered that it doesn't matter what polarity voltage is supplied by an AC adapter connected to the RCX. Apparently, the power jack connects to a full wave bridge rectifier. In fact, it may work on pure AC. I notice it maintains power for a (...) (26 years ago, 22-Dec-98, to lugnet.robotics)
