Hi Everyone,

Has anyone considered or think there's a need for a small book on commonly used
I/O circuits for the RCX and Scout Programmable Brick? One of my fulltime
duties as an Electronics Systems Engineer is to construct a Build Of
Materials(BOM) for Automotive Electronic Control Modules. This BOM is basically
an Excel Spreadsheet which list individual components and pc costs for each I/O
interface circuit of the Electronic Control Module(ECM). Commonly used circuits
are included in constructing the BOM inorder to expedite the paper design and
cost analysis of the ECM. For the advance robotics builder/experimenter,an I/O
circuits book would be a valuable aid in designing sensor/actuator controls for
RCX and Scout based robots. Would anyone be interested in having such a
reference guide to aid in building their robots?

(...) That's "Bill of Materials", right? (...) See my sigline for the "Extreme Mindstorms Book". Michael Gasperi's section has everything you'd ever want on sensors and actuators... Cheers, Ralph ---...--- Check out pbFORTH for LEGO Mindstorms at: (...) (23 years ago, 24-Oct-01, to lugnet.robotics)
