To quote the manual:

"The camera image can be processed to yield a resulting value. This value is
a single number which can be used in a variety of ways. The image is
processed as specified in the camera sensor setup area. The resulting values
are stored in the red, blue and yellow Robolab containers [i.e., variables].
These values, which were determined by the computer, are then sent to the
RCX by the IR transmitter. The RCX can then use the updated container values
in the program it is currently running." As a matter of interest you do have
some control over how fast information is sent to the RCX.

The Robolab Vision Center (which processes the image) has several predefined
image processing options (you can create you own using the define sensor
button option) including: Brightness (brightest value), Darkness (darkest
value), BrightLocation (value, x and y coordinates), MotionRow (row value
where motion occurs), MotionColumn (column value where motion occurs),
Blobs1 and Blobs2 (can be used for example to count the number of blobs on a
dice).

view...?  Has anyone used this feature?

But it needs a manual to help with subvi's and their (...) (23 years ago, 14-Oct-01, to lugnet.robotics)
