The Mac is about to disappear? Did you write this in 1997 and forget to post
it. Read the technology section sometime. Cnet of all sources, rated the
Mac OS above Windows 2000 and XP. Apple just won an Emmy award for it's
creation of standard Firewire The Mac has never had more competitive
hardware and at truly competitive prices. Mac OS-X while still in the
incubator, promises to be an impressive OS that may draw corporate attention
because of its Unix roots and ability to merge with mainframe systems. Mac
is supported by hundreds of software developers that are porting their apps.
to OS-X
Yes I am a Mac fan... Looks like one needs to be one to be aware of the
facts. Is the Mac challenging the Microsoft monopoly? Not a chance. Is the
Mac facing doom decline and obsolesce? Not a chance!

| Years ago I was building lego robots based on the Control Lab kit, with the software running on a Macintosh. The Mac is about to disappear, so I want to run the Control Lab off a PC now. Does anyone on this list have a Control Lab with PC software? (...) (23 years ago, 21-Aug-01, to lugnet.robotics)
