I designed a caster wheel assembly that worked pretty well. It uses a single, centered wheel instead of the two wheels you have. The two wheel assembly you are using tends to not want to turn. Anyway go to the following web site for assembly (...) (24 years ago, 7-Mar-01, to lugnet.robotics)

Here's three ideas ranging from easy to implement, but not terribly effective, to fairly effective, but harder to employ. You could try to characterize the amount of rotation that occurs in the robot as the caster wheel straightens out when you (...) (24 years ago, 7-Mar-01, to lugnet.robotics)

Using old blue or grey rails (non-conducting), you could have a transmitter & 8 receivers (assuming of course that the receivers'll be available separately?), one (...) Hi folks, Apologies if this has been asked before, but I'm a little stumped. I just received a RIS 1.5 set, and inside was a yellow brick labelled RCX 2.0. I'm reasonably familiar with the RCX 1.0, and I have a 1.0 with a power jack. This one has no (...) (24 years ago, 8-Mar-01, to lugnet.robotics)
