I am happy to announce version 1.0 of the RCX Command Center.
RCX Command Center is a program that assist you in programming the Lego
MindStorms Robots. It provides a higher level interface to the RCX, the
programmable brick that forms the heart of the Lego Robots.
RCX Command Center is based on the Not Quite C language and compiler
written by Dave Baum. The Not Quite C compiler and documentation are
included for convenience but are not part of the RCX Command Center.
They remain copyrighted by Dave Baum. RCX Command Center adds to this an
integrated editor, and tools to directly control the RCX and to monitor
its state and behavior.
Version 1.0 corrects some bugs in version 0.9, has more options in
setting the port of the IR tower, does better error checking, has
"intelligent" tab behavior, and has a number of additions features. RCX
Command Center can be used free of charge.

| Mark's RCX Command Center adds a great Windows interface to Dave's NQC Compiler as well as providing many direct control functions. I highly recommend RCX-CC and NQCC and thank both Mark and Dave for their contributions to the RCX users community. - (...) (26 years ago, 15-Dec-98, to lugnet.robotics)
